I'm pretty sure Heather dressed the kids in their camera-inspired attire just for me on our final day in town...and it didn't go unnoticed! Immediately I took several photos of Hazel, so, when Heather asked both children to sit with me for my going-away photo, Hazel refused! Sensing my frustration, Heather said, Just Photoshop her in! I wasn't sure how I'd proceed, but here you have it...not perfect as it was quite unplanned, but for the memory, "good enough"!
Bodhi has his own camera we gave him, and Hazel enjoyed using mine, too. We had a great time and it won't be long before they're up to see us in Nova Scotia this summer, along with the rest of the California cousins!
Though relatively new to the Grandma Game, I'm making up for lost time! *
*and not getting enough sleep! I look at this as I come to read comments and realize I look *exhausted*!
Thank goodness for photoshop, Hazel looks like she's in your photo. Love, love Bodhi's t-shirt and her skirt. Oh, and Hazel refused to pose for the goodbye photo because she didn't want you to leave, of course, you already know that.
@louannwarren haha...She's a woman who knows her own mind...never mind her diminutive stature! She'd already posed for me and deemed I had enough!I do already miss them like crazy!
@allie912 With their looks and mannerisms, we're constantly astounded at how alike they are! Apart from some typical childhood scrap[es, they are the best of friends and truly adore one another! We love it!
Such a lovely image to treasure! Love those outfits! Well done on the editing - I hadn't noticed until I read your comments! You will have such a great time with them in the summer!
Perfectly posed....even though it wasn't. I think this needs to be framed. Their clothes are absolutely perfect for a picture with you and your camera!
I never would have known Hazel was drop-shipped in this photo! Her expression is soooo adorable! She resembles a little imp. Actually she looks a lot like you!
@lynnz My daughter, Heather, hears that a lot! ...of course I couldn't resist "the camera clothing"! My daughter has pretty hip taste in children's clothes (and had a children's boutique in Chicago that she called Green Genes)
@tunia Thanks so much! If I was 25 years younger, I'd kill to wear that outfit!
@potsbypam Your comment is very dear; thank you!
@lifepause Thanks, m'friend!
