I like the unaltered image the best. I really get the feeling of the beauty of the aged wood with this shot. I am not a real fan of the HDR look. This one has a very natural feeling. Thanks for letting us see the difference.
@seattle How interesting, the variety of opinions! I've seern some lovely HDR that only enhances and doesn't look manipulated, but this "scrubby-chippy surface" is off the charts no matter what the effect! I could see I was going to have to share it's qualities from every direction... and it's fun for me to hear what others think!
I always prefer unaltered photos. Just not into all the changes people sometimes do. This is really a find... Like the worn ad weathered look of all of it.
@drsridhar You'll be surprised to know this is just exactly what the shed and decorations look like! No HDR here and no colour editing! I played with HDR in another photo, but this is absolutely natural! (Wow!)
