I'm not baking for tomorrow, so while enjoying looking at the presentations of others, I brought up an old photo from an Easter brunch we went to a few years ago. We're returning tomorrow...the food is wonderful, but the photos linger longer!
Happy Easter to you and Ken!! Brunch tomorrow sounds wonderful and I am expecting photos!! LOL!! If only I could have jumped on a plane to join you!! LOL!! Fav!
I had such a crazy two weeks that Easter rather surprised me and I found that we had no plans and neither did some of our friends - so I went to the store and purchased dinner for tomorrow and invited some guests! I will bake a ham, Kirby is making Pineapple Up-side Down Cake and the rest is already prepared. I have never done this before as I am the cooking queen so it will be fun. Just have to do a bit of cleaning and setting up. Enjoy your day!! Happy Easter!
@stownsend I'm so proud of you to "relax and wing it" in a way we might never have done in our youth! It took living in Lunenburg, where my friends are amazing cooks... I was quite intimidated, but "dining with friends" is a way of life there! They convinced me it's more about the company around the table, and bit by bit I became more comfortable! When I threw An American Thanksgiving Dinner for 60, Ken and I garnered a good reputation! For the most part, I keep to smaller groups, but two weeks don't pass before we have friends in again...and I love it! You're going to have a beautiful Easter and a lovely dinner! I'll be thinking of you! Post photos!
A marvelous plan! We are grilling steaks and will have all the trimmings, taking it easy after working in the yard all day today! Happy Easter to you and Ken!
Lovely artwork Louise, I admire your artistic creativity, something I lack entirely. Happy Easter to you and Ken, and enjoy your brunch. We're having a very quiet Easter, just what we like.
