On our way out to Feltzen South where we'd picked our site to photograph the moon, I was just saying to Ken, "This is the beach where people find the sea glass..." It happened to be the bit of land on the water where friends have a rental cottage, and as I gestured toward the rocks, Ken was the first to note that there sat a Bald Eagle! I was on the far seat from the window, so I couldn't roll it down, but I got some acceptable ones through the glass. These are such amazingly large and imposing birds...so majestic!
I felt like Paparazzi photographing someone famous as he was trying to dine... I didn't ask for an autograph, but now I know where to find him again ;)
Stunning capture Louise! Now why did I put my camera in the bag in the boot of the car! Just fabulous to watch him looking so magestic and breathtaking when he took off! I will remember these exciting encounters for a long time to come! Fav!
