Preparing for the Big Event

At 5 this evening the moon was bright even before the sun went down. With the Blue-Super-Moon event being staged on Wednesday, I took out the tripod for a test run. The addition of a full eclipse on that day seems like a bit of overkill, but I'm not running the show ; ) I was having a lot of wonderful time to play today!
