Word of the day: 13. What to do? Youngest would love a collage of 13 of her beloved pets. Too much work. I like macros ... so many possibilities there. However, oldest says he misses outdoor photos. Checked out fence lines (too long). Checked out stub fences (husband likes sets of 10 posts). Decided to get this pen of calves to pose. Ha! They refused to line up properly and kicked up dust every time I moved. So, here is a photo of approximately 13. I tried counting noses (11). I tried counting heads (14 plus a set of ears). Ear tags? (10) If you leave out the shy ones in the back I think there are 13 here. Maybe I should really use "abstract" and do that oil and water photo I have on my bucket list.
@paul2782 Thank you. I had been thinking I'd focus along the run of feed bunks, but that was very dull and difficult. Then I considered walking into the pen and shooting backsides. Too dirty. I like barbed wire and I knew they'd be curious enough to check me out, especially these little ones.
That's a very creative "13". I know that took a lot of patience and probably a lot of shots! I like how the barbed wire frames it and that you captured their attention.
