Today's word - "inside/outside". Perfect opportunity for another bird photo, because they are outside, but I sit patiently inside by the window waiting for my photo opportunity. This bird, and her companions, are skitterish little things, never holding still and constantly flitting from branch to branch. I believe she is a Pink-sided Junco, and, while we often have Juncos during the winter months, this is the first I've seen these. With the drought and weather changes I have noticed a different variety of small songbirds wintering here.
