While others are being creative and clever, I am being literal. Geodes used to be quite an attraction for the boys. Anticipation would build as they put those ugly gray stones in an old sock and cracked them open with a hammer. More often than not there were few crystals, but the fun lay in the process of discovery. I believe this was already revealed when purchased at the museum. It represented the potential of what lay hidden beneath exteriors.
@paul2782@gerry thank you. Struggled with white balance, but, other than cropping, I haven't learned much about editing photos so, while it seems a bit blue to me, that was the light for the day.
