Still playing with Lightroom and editing photos taken during the workshop.The only perspective to get this shot was by standing in the middle of the road. It was late evening, but traffic and mosquitoes kept me on the move so I only had one shot. I do like the look of Aspen bark.
Wonderful textures. If Lightroom is still giving you grief (not from this shot I might add), I recommend Scott Kelby's books on the subject. Amazon normaly has them at reasonable prices.
@sbolden thank you. This is the natural bark texture. Higher up the tree are the Aspen "eyes" with the predominantly white bark, but I didn't get to compose an image of those with this set of trees.
I love the texture of that, before I read the title I thought it was maybe some kind of cave painting or ancient carving (or curtains!). I can see so many shapes in there that could be people or animals.
