Love this tree. It is in the Japanese Garden and overlooks the pond. I visited it last year, and missed its red leaves by about a week. I missed its red leaves again this year. I suspect I will never see its red leaves, as youngest's fall break comes just before this tree's leaves turn. Oh well. I still find its silhouette against the filtered light of its leaves beautiful.
