This Black Walnut tree in my parent's backyard has provided the neighborhood squirrels with an abundance of nuts every winter for decades. This year, however, the neighbor lady collected most of the nuts for baking. This fellow searched long and hard to find a stray black walnut left behind, but when he did he went right to work having his snack, then sprawled out for a brief rest before continuing on his way.
