The display of lilacs ended with thunderstorms and pounding rain last week. Now it is the spirea's turn. They are draped in tiny white blossoms and are holding their own in today's rain.
Wonderful up-close shot. From the surface they're sitting on to the dark background, the flowers are nicely framed and focused on. Thanks to macro photography we can really appreciate the beauty of these tiny flowers. Otherwise they might just be a clump of white on a bush.
