fire escape

Our last alleyway and last stop during our evening photowalk. I really like the lines of the back of this building, with that older model car and motorcycle. Wish I'd composed a bit differently, but I had taken the lens off autofocus and forgotten, so I was fighting my focus for about 2/3 of the pictures. Finally realized, and by then the others were at the other end of the alley. Still, I so seldom get urban images that I just like looking at this.
Still a very effective image. It seems to be a part of a bigger story.

@jocasta Thank you! I have never bracketed shots, though I suppose I should learn. For this I bumped the clarity in LIghtroom, then took it to Silver Efex and popped the "High Structure Harsh" ... maybe all the way up ... I was just in a gritty mood I think

I'm not sure how you would compose it differently. I really like it just the way it is. The processing is amazing and makes the shot tell a number of different stories. It's a FAV for me.
