OK ... not a great photo, but this little guy really wasn't interested in being a model. There were five or six little ones earlier, but I think this one may be the only survivor. It seems to have taken up residence in either the barn or old chicken house, where it knows it can find cat food. We surprised each other when I went out to feed the cats this morning, and it had to do that funny stamping hop they do when they are posturing. I know I shouldn't encourage it to stay around, but they are so cute when they are little!

Yes...they are so cute...until my 5 lb. dog got sprayed at 1:30am last summer. It was our first experience and when Sophie started foaming at the mouth and I panicked. My clothing, our car, no longer sweet Sophie and home stunk to high heaven for a month.
