Kathy challenged me to do some high key photography of the cats. I tried to do this in-camera. I'm not very good at in-camera high key (I think because I only vaguely understand what it is). I used exposure compensation, but I'm not sure if I just over-exposed it or if it's high key. The histogram looks right and I think the shadows and midtones are bright. Regardless, here's my first try at a high key cat using natural outdoor lighting.
Kathy @kathyboyles ... My first attempt at a high key cat photograph. I though this fuzzy yellow fellow would look good as a high key portrait. Not sure if it's high key or just overexposed.
