Lisa challenged me to try either an abstract or icm this week. I thought I'd start with an abstract. This is a vortograph of a cosmos made by photographing the flower through a three mirror triangle I made from little makeup mirrors. I like the multiple blooms created by the kaleidoscopic repetitions, particularly since there were very few cosmos blooms this year, and I'm afraid all the buds that are set are doomed to freeze as it appears that our autumnal colors are going to be cut very short this year.
