We spent Thanksgiving on the road from Page, AZ and made it in time to spend the last couple of hours of daylight admiring the Grand Canyon. While we got a chance to see it only from one or two of the many pullouts, this was a nice teaser and I look forward to really spending time there someday. Magnificent!
Never been, have always wanted to go. this is almost unreal looking. I'm living vicariously thru your photos for the time being. Hope alls well with you guys!
So beautiful. I love rocks and canyons. We visited once in early May when there was still a whole lot of snow. I had really wanted to see the view from the north rim (can't remember the name of the viewpoint) but it's the only spot on the canyon where it drops straight down. Had to Fav this as the colours and view are amazing.
@stepheesue I've only ever seen just one or two views--I MUST go back for a more full experience someday. And so should you--it truly is breathtaking! And btw, we need another meet up sometime soon--missing you!!
This is pure amazingness. Holy balls, Kung Fu Masta. I'll watch your dogs any time, as long as you come back with this kind of Kung Fu Masta radtabular-ness.
I travelled by bicycle round N rim and found my mode of transport perfect for enabling me to stop where I wanted for photography. It's got such potential.
