This photo simply does not convey just how high--and how sheer--this cliff really is!! Uneven rock surface. No fencing. No signs saying to be careful. Kids running loose all aver the place. I damn near had a heart attack a couple of times watching how casually some folks would walk right up to the edge and even sit and dangle their feet. I on the other hand, literally crawled on my belly to the edge and even that gave me the willies. However...WHAT A VIEW ! ! ! Heather (@pixelchix), shown here in the foreground, crawled to the edge as well. The dude standing was no more than about 6 inches from the edge. OMG, what we do for a shot, eh??
cool shot, love the added human element... the horizon looks beautiful! so, was there a part of you hoping that the dude would slip & fall down and you'd got a shot of that... ? ;)
Wonderfully composed image Jenn. Love that you captured Heather in action and the crazy man setting up so close to the edge. I'm sure this doesn't begin to capture the true grandeur of the area. Spectacular shot.
Oh my, that would definitely give me the shivers, but you are right, what an awesome view. Quite breathtaking,and can only imagine being there in person.
What a great picture of Heather in action! I love this place and I'm with you, I crawled out on my belly too and I still got the willies! It is a bit un-nerving, but well worth it for the shot!
