You might say this is the first of many blossoms on the magnolia tree I saw on my walk, but at the present time it is the only one. It stands out dramatically against the dark polished leaves.
I had only been familiar with the small pink and white magnolias I've seen around here until my friend and I went to the Garden for Sculpture and discovered that gigantic one. Until then I'd never really smelled the Magnolia scent. My goodness that was heavenly! So you will have to enjoy that for me when this one gets more blossoms! Very pretty!!
