Reading with a Buddy

Today was Convocation at Collegiate, a time to affirm our school values and come together as a community. The highlight is always the bonding of the senior class with the kindergartners. They march onto the football field together, often with kindergartners riding high on the shoulders of their seniors. After the program, the seniors and their little buddies read together on the library porch. It was a wonderful way to end a special morning.

So nice of the two age groups getting together to spend a beautiful morning on the football field and seeing them here spending time to read. wonderful for the youngsters to be bonding with the senior students.
