The Sea Thrift is classified as a herb but it is toxic to humans if eaten! Sea Thrift is known by many other names three for example are Sea Cushion, Lady's Pincushion and my favourite Sea Gillyflower, I wonder if the latter is from where J K Rowling got the name Gillyweed for her plant that enables breathing underwater.
