This morning, my girls were out playing on the back deck in the rain. Before I went out to join them, I grabbed my camera for a few quick shots. And then I went out and danced and sang with them in the rain for a bit. What a great way to make the most of the dreary weather and a good start to the day.
I am needing some sunshine again soon. I think that after tomorrow, we should have a sunny week.
This rainbow in the rain reminded me of the storm that we are in and how we are searching for our own rainbow. Looking forward to finding, deciding and moving forward with a house soon. The holding pattern we are in and not knowing is hard.
beautiful shot ...abstract ...love that hint of color and the lines ... wonderful words ...dancing in the rain ... while awaiting for the storm to pass (reminds me of a famous saying about living life every moment) ... those lines on the rainbow are really super ... you have a way with words!!
Not having certainty is always the hardest. For me anyway. Once I have a date for things I can relax and plan. Hopefully we will be seeing our new place in two weeks. Fingers crossed for you guys.
Thanks so very much, guys. I feel so way behind everything at the moment. Trying to hold my head above the water, but I wanted to take a moment to tell you that I appreciate your words and encouragement to me. You are inspiring people:).
@kjbadger You are so sweet, lady...and happily following you back. I love it when people take the time to introduce themselves rahter than just click the follow button. Looking forward to getting to know you. Do you appreciate a story as well...it seems so:)!
@kjbadger That was my FAVORITE class!! I hope to write someday. Just haven't been inspired as to what yet. In the meantime, I enjoy expressing myself creatively here...both in writing and in photography.
