I couldn't keep the creepy up for long. I have friends yelling at me on Facebook that the spider made them scream at their computer monitor. Sorry.:)
So back to my regularly scheduled adorable programing, here is something sweet that I observed on my couch the other day. A pile of puppy paws. Again testing out the 35 mm and flash.
Feeling melancholy today. Thinking about life and death (not pondering mine, no worries) and missed opportunities. Wish life on earth wasn't so hard and sad sometimes. Makes me look forward to heaven.
Well, I always fav paws it seems, and this is one is brilliant. I like how they take over the main scene with that sweet face in the background. I can definitely relate to you on your 3rd paragraph....except your last sentence. Not so anxious to leave yet :-)
@cimes1 No not ready to leave, but gosh, some days sure are hard. But still a lot of wonderful things to see, do and experience. I dream of being a photographer in heaven someday:). Thank you, lady!
@steampowered It was pretty cool, though it did really creep me out. I hope we don't get them often in the house. Especially not in bed when sleeping...heart attack material there!
@monkeykid I agree. Just reading the paper today about babies dying, and then Paul, and other sad things. Sometimes, it's just soo much pain. And other days are wonderful and sometimes we even experience a bit of heaven on earth. I love those days best. Thanks, lady!
Very sad times on 365 this week. It's the price you pay for making connections and friendships and for loving others. Love your paws attached to that beautiful fella.
Fav! I've tried many times to make a pic like this and never succeeded in this great way! Love it!
Great idea and so sweet to send Paul flowers... Life can be so cruel at times...
What a lovely and relaxed pup. Well captured. Today certainly has been laced with sadness. Interesting how we become close to people online that we've never met.
i read your posting on the discussion board this morning. was quite surprised. but you know, when it's our time, there's no hiding from it. it will come wherever we are. best thing to do is live a useful life. interesting how a pile of paws could elicit philosophy from people. :-)
@kathyladley Sure, go to your photo, click on the 3 dots to the right of the fave star and copy the text in the box. Then paste it into the thread. If you have troubles let me know. have a good weekend.
oh the detail on those paws is divine, focus too - we can learn so much about living in the moment from animals (hard to do but then again contemplation a good thing)
@kathyladley Of course. He was a good, loved man and I wanted to honor him properly. Thank you!
@seanoneill Couch rather than carpet. Thanks. It was too cute to pass up. All 4 paws were together, but when I went to take the photo, the stinker pup shifted. Still cute, but...
@northy I love them. They smell like cereal. Who smells their dogs paws?!
Paws are near and dear to my heart. I think those thoughts sometimes ... I hope your beautiful family provides comfort to you before the blues have much time to settle in.
Always look at your photos but now following, too.
@jocasta Black labs are wonderfully precious, right. Thanks, Jocasta. Happy to have you...and I happily returned the favor!:)
@shepherdman @kerristephens @softbootsailer Thanks, guys:)!
@adamj Truly. Thanks. Wish I could lazy lay around like this more often!
@susale Ha!! Thanks, ladies!!! @calm
