There is something romantic to me about New England in the fall. It's a dream of mine to go there someday and see the gorgeous leaves. I tried to fall this up a bit with my processing.
This is the route that we took to our amazing campground where we stayed in a cabin in the Green Mountains in Vermont. Down this road, called Covered Bridge Road. And the bridge was red just for me:).
"Stop the Car first!! I need a photo!"
Michael obliged, thankfully.
When I was a baby, I used to say, "Stop the car, wanna get out. Fench fy, fench fy." whenever we passed a McDonalds. Now I scream to stop for photos. Actually this was the only time on the trip I requested a stop. I sure could have about 10-15 times on the return trip, but tough to do when there are 5 of us and we are on a long drive and just want to get home.
In total, we put 3000 miles on the car in the course of the whole road trip. I don't want to go anywhere now for at least a week!
What a great shot and love your processing. So glad he stopped for you. 3000 miles is a lot of miles to put on. I have wanted to stop many times too and we do but not every time. FAV
Great capture I love a covered bridge and a rd one is best! We went to New England for the changing leaves in the years before kids. It was really spectacular.
Oh, I so love that red covered bridge!! And, yes, Vermont is incredibly beautiful in the fall.....maybe you will be up for another road trip in a few months?! FAV!!
