This week @madhatters, we are telling the much loved story of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day by Judith Viorst.
Poor Alexander, listen to how bad his morning started out:
I went to sleep with gum in my mouth and now there’s gum in my hair and when I got out of bed this morning, I tripped on the skateboard and by mistake I dropped my sweater in the sink while the water was running and I could tell it was going to be a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.
At breakfast Anthony found a Corvette Sting Ray car kit in his breakfast cereal box and Nick found a Junior Undercover Agent code ring in his breakfast cereal box, but in my breakfast cereal box all I found was breakfast cereal.
I think I'll move to Australia.
(Was the Aussie version different cause the American version had him wanting to move to Australia? Just curious.)
So join us this week to portray Alexander's wretched day, or show us a version of your own. And tag your shots: madhatters-badday
May your days and this week be not bad at all, but amazing, fun and photogenic. And may your breakfast cereal contain a treasure:). Do they anymore?

@olivetreeann Awesome...Ann. thank you Glad you could recognize the story. I did another shot for Mad Hatters that went along with the first part of the book, too. Which was more recognizable? @madhatters
Great imaginative shot. Thanks for your words about Luca. So many babies seems to have reflux now. What do you think causes it? I took Luca to a chiropractor last week and that helped so much. He is still on his omeprazole but hopefully we can slowly cut back on that. I've also got him on formula mostly now although still breastfeed him a little bit! Admire you going through all this three times :-) xx
@tremerryn We need the junky stuff...isn't that where all the prizes are? We don't ever see prizes anymore. Maybe that is a thing of the past.
@zambianlass Our reflux was some of the issue, but most of it was allergies to stuff in my milk. Figuring it out was awful and painstaking. I tried the reflux meds for one of my kids (the crabbiest of the bunch) but it didn't seem to make a difference. She is still my crabby one.:)
I love it! There's a few coming to Australia, we'll have to have a meet up :)
I hate to say it but I didn't ever hear the story so can't shed any light on that :/
@maggiemae So funny. Thanks, Maggiemae!!
