Visited Seney Wildlife refuge today, doing the wildlife drive. Two Sandhill cranes walked out into the road and proceeded to stroll down the road in front of our car for quite a distance. @maggiemae actually they are hunted in 17 US states and are called the “ribeye of the sky”. They are not hunted here in MIchigan as they are only here during breeding season and are protected by the Migratory Birds Act.
