Ambleside Harbour

If day 4 was the best day of the holiday, then day 5 was the worst.

Had a silent arguement with my girlfriend and we did nothing all day until 3pm which really annoyed me as I felt the day was being wasted. Then the other family we went with decided they wanted to drive to Scotland!!! So after spending 90 minutes on the M6, we reached Gretna, turned around and headed back...!

I was pretty pissed off by this point so went for a drive on my own to Ambleside at the top of Lake Windermere where I took this photo of the harbour at dusk.

Nothing much else to say about the day unfortunately..

Gretna has nice shops but that is about all you can say about it! Harbour view looks a bit menacing...maybe a reflection of your day.
