So enjoyed yesterday's long exposure shots at Canary Wharf, I thought I would pop back there after work tonight to take some more, from a different angle.
I took a few, but nothing I was totally happy with so as I was walking to a different location, I thought I would try some images twisting the lens whilst setting the exposure to 1 or 2 seconds to see what would happen. This isn't great but opens up some interesting possibilities.
For those in the know, this was taken standing in front of the fountain facing the main tower.
Miserable leaving work in the dark, but I guess it will allow me more night time photo opportunities...
Like it - you working from Byran Peterson's workbook/knowledge base/suggestions. Can't wait for my 5D to return to work through his and other mentor's talented opus.
@misschuff Thanks Carlita... Sorry, I have no idea who Bryan Peterson is, so just did a quick search and checked out his work - he's a great photographer. I just try things out, inspired as well by people on here and reading photography mags mainly...
oh yeah! His books - I got all of them our through my institute's library are just soooo personable and he gives tips and tricks away and is NOT pretencious! His field guide book is a conglomeration of most of his other books and Book Depository UK is cheap ... I go on Whirlpool forums and link in with other there ... email me if you want more info writearoundtheworld@hotmail.co.uk. cheers
:)
Superb!
