Infered City Hall by andycoleborn

Infered City Hall

Was a short day in the office today, our team had it's Christmas lunch this afternoon in an award winning boozer down by Tower Bridge. Eleven of us enjoyed a really good slap up lunch, and the odd tipple or three....

We paid for the meal but the boss stuck the drinks on the work's credit card - shame he didn't mention this at the start of the meal as I'm sure we would have drunk a fair bit more - but was still a good effort and a great way to spend a Monday afternoon...

After the meal I walked down to the river to take some photos but I think a combination a bottle of red and temperatures about minus 3 meant the few shots I took weren't the sharpest.

The building on the left is City Hall - or the glass testicle - the building on the right is The Shard, soon to be Europe's tallest building.

Using picnik, I converted this with the infered option. Not sure whether I like or not, but it's better than the original pic.

Started snowing again about an hour ago... big fat heavy flakes falling... looks really nice but am wondering whether I'll make it into work or not tomorrow...
looks like an island...

Interesting technique; looks very scifi, or perhaps one of those shows where humans have gone and we are just waiting for the ravages of time to take over.

The Infrared processing makes these buildings look like ice covered structures. Very chilling. Like this creative processing.

I thought that one of the left was The Onion, cousin of the Gherkin!

It looks kind of like it's in a dream or a fog. Enjoy those big fluffy flakes!

Wow, stunning! Interesting how it turned out!

Very interesting. The water looks cold and a bottle of red wouldn't do much to protect you from the cold water.
