Fish Heads by andycoleborn

Fish Heads

Decided to dig out Rick Stein's Eastern Odyssey cook book today and have a flick through to try something we hadn't had before.

Found a Malaysian fish curry so after popping to Tescos and a local Asian market (for some of the more unusual ingredients), I knocked up this evening's meal..

Was quite nice - the sauce and vegetables were really nice.... Used makerel as per the receipe - here it is in case you fancy a try http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/malaysianfishcurrywi_91831

Makerel are great looking fish and I hope I have done them justice - both with this pic and in the cooking...

Two more days to my iphone is delivered... Sangeeta got her's on Friday and I've been playing around with it ever since... Can't wait til mine turns up..

Holy Makerel...just look at those sad, little beady eyes. Gorgeous processing! I'm so impressed that you cook such ambitious dishes. We follow recipes that call for heat and serve, so any other prep in the kitchen sounds so impressive! Ha!
