Foreign Exchange

I always like to keep a note from any country I visit... I don't actually do anything with them once back home, just bundle them up ready to be joined by another note one day in the future..

As I'm off to India in April, thought I'd focus in on Gandhi here...

You can't see them all, but amongst the notes sprinkled about here are:

* India - 10 Rupees
* USA - 1 Dollar
* Malaysia - 1 Ringgit
* Caribbean - 5 Eastern Caribbean Dollars
* Singapore - 2 Dollars
* Egypt - 1 Pound
* Barbados - 2 Dollars
* Kenya - 50 Shillings
* UAE - 5 Dirhams
* Thailand - 100 Baht
* Turkey - 1,000,000 Lira

Although no longer in use, Turkey re-jigged it's currancy a decade back, I love the fact the One Million Lira note appears to have Dracula on it.... Plus for a while, I was technically a millionaire..!!!

My brother does that too! I have a few coins too, and like Shannon, too cheap to keep notes :-) Great piccy... have a great time in India, lucky you!

You are the only andy I know of on here so I'm sure she meant you.....we've started a sucky photo account, she had left a comment on one of your photos with her email so you could get a hold of her and join in the fun...we capped it at 10 but that is counting you! her email is [e-mail] go ahead and delete this after you get it written down cause I know she doesn't want it out there...also I'm sure you can find the icanhazthesuck profile, theres a discussion linked to it on the boards right now.
