Drove down to Hampshire to see mum today and on heading into town saw hoards of people walking towards the High Street... Turned out the Olympic torch was heading through town an hour later...
This chap was going to be running a leg and was charging 50p for St John's Ambulance charity to have your pic taken...
Have to say everyone was really into the Olympic spirit, crowds were 6 deep and there was a really good mood in the air - Police outriders high-fiving and even one plod pulling a wheelie on his bike.!
As for the runner who passed me?? Well he wasn't jogging or going nice and slow so we could get a pic but was on a full on sprint as if he was in training for the 100 metres... Managed 2 shots - one blurred, one of the back of hs head..!
nice one Andy I take it it had cooled down then ...LOl.. it was the same up here when it came to my town everyone got it the spirit... so is this the first paid for 365 photo i wonder ??
Hey Andy! I find the shots with the photographers that I follow, super exciting to see. Putting a face with the people you know. I like the fact they were raising money for a worthy cause... Great to see ya'!
