I did the chopping, Sangeeta did the cooking and this was easily the best lamb shank I've ever had... Served with cous cous, garlic and rosemary new potatoes and a little side salad..
Cooked with a little spice for that extra kick for 3 or so hours, the meat was falling off the bone...
Sad news about Sir Patrick Moore dying today... Hope no 'stories' come out about him and dodgy goings on back in the day as have come out about so many celebs recently...
Another weekend that's raced by and it's back to the grind tomorrow...
Well you now Andy, if the street photo gig thing doesn't work out you can take up food photography. This looks fantastic and incredibly delicious. I think I have to go see whats in the fridge...
Great photo and it really does look delicious. yes it is sad about Patrick Moore and I know what you mean about nothing comes crawling out of the woodwork. I heard on the radio this morning that his fiancee died during the war and he never tried to find anybody else after that - sad
@jantan Yeah, I read that too... very sad.. Also read he had, what I suppose is now called non-PC views on women and probably mild-racist views... I can put up with that - someone's own views - I wouldn't like to hear about the 'other' stuff...!!! If you know what I mean...
Oooh almost don't want to hear about the views - shattered illusions and all that. And deffo hope not to hear about anything else. Obituary programme just started about him on BBC1.
awesome food photo....i love how you can see the other plate in the background. i would think that would be distracting to the shot, but it actually is one thing i really LIKE about this shot......lighting is great too!
