Leadenhall Market by andycoleborn

Leadenhall Market

I've taken dozens of pics inside Leadenhall Market over the years and never really been satisfied with any I've taken... No change with this one either...

The market dates back to the 14th century and stands on the site of the centre of Roman London.. Although this building isn't quite so old... having been built in 1881...

Watching a blast from the past tonight, The Wild Geese on Channel 5..

So it has a roof over the top of the market area! Probably needed in London! Great photo as its fairly dark!

Wow! What a wonderful place. Our little city has a similar place--a covered street of shops--but not nearly so grand, nor so old. You did a great job of capturing what is obviously a difficult space. For our "Nickels Arcade" see http://365project.org/houser934/365/2013-03-16

Think it is a good representation. Catching the sole man adds impact to it.
