COLOURS

We went into the playground today to collect leaves for an Autumn art activity. The light and colours under the tree were lovely. I have just been playing around with contrast and colours. Not really sure what I like...but the B&W one sort of draws me in - thoughts?????? Better viewed large of course lol

The obvious choice is the b:w but the desaturated green /pink combination is so subtle and the greens take your eye to the pink of the blossom : wonderful composition superb tryptych

Think the b&w works particularly well because of the contrast of that leaf against the dark top, also all the great textures, especially the bark.

Lovely experiment. I often also get confused but something inside usually makes you decide. But, it has to be you!

@paul2782 @paulaw @cjainmd @thedysue Thankyou so much for your input guys - I am having fun playing around with the photos - my execution isn't perfected yet - partly due to experience and partly to impatience to get onto the next photo - all of this is a learning curve for me. Paul I had to look up tryptych hahahaha at first I thought it was just typing on a smart phone gibberish like I often get from my daughters or send myself when I don't check auto correct :)

@luvmynynix Thankyou :) it came about because the school jumpers are a blue that just clashed with all the rest - I loved the photo apart from that so thought I would play with the colours - then of course I couldn't decide which one I liked lol
