The morning sun was shining on the zygos and raindrops so I put the 50mm lens on and headed outside to practise and experiment - along comes a bee - usually I'm thrilled - but I have to manually focus the 50mm and I'm not too good at that - I'm sure that by the time I nick inside and change lenses the bee will be gone so I just go for it - imagine my squeal of delight when I opened this image - I was TICKLED PINK! Hence the title.
I have the most wonderful followers who are kind enough to take the time to stop by and give their support, make comments and add favs - thank you so much for taking the time to stop by :-)
@jetpics thank you - I was really happy - the 50mm and it's manual focus ( it's a very old lens) at the moment is very hit and miss for me....this was a hit that made my day
@scolgs definitely keep trying - I get one or two good ones in ten if I am lucky - I just keep clicking :) @thedysue thankyou - the flowers are a beautiful colour

This is a stunning shot! I got a 50mm lens and don't really know how to use it. I thought it was just for portraits. I'm going to try it on flowers now that I see you did.
