Acacia glaucoptera by annied

Acacia glaucoptera

Acacia glaucoptera, commonly known as flat wattle or clay wattle is a species of Acacia which is endemic to the south-west of Western Australia. This is a most unusual and attractive wattle often grown for its unusual "foliage" - its "leaves" are actually cladodes - flattened leaf-like stems.

The whole plant can be seen here...... http://365project.org/annied/the-ones-i-left/2015-09-12

I love acacia blossoms, they are so small yet so interesting. I have never seen them green though (assume this is a younger blossom?)
