"thumb nail " like a species of monkey, I think... wouldn't guess an orangutan as the foot seems quite small... Clearly I'm unfamiliar with the endangered animals of Java!
@annied i first adopted when I was in Borneo, probably the same place as your daughter. That was through the Orangutan Project which I think is UK based, that baby has now grown up. My latest adoption is through the World Wildlife Fund. So worth doing, especially once you have visited Borneo and seen the deforestation first hand. I really felt that I had to do something.
