BAMBI

Who Am I - 5 is actually a European Fallow Deer.
Well done!
Fallow Deer are amongst the most widely distributed around the world of all of the Deer species. They originated in the British Isles and Europe, however were driven south by the cold. They were later reintroduced to northern and western Europe by the Romans and brought back to Britain by the Normans. They where first brought to Australia via Tasmania in 1850.
All Fallow Deer have white spots on their backs and black tips on the end of their tails.
On this day there was a child named Oliver at the zoo - many of us learned his name very quickly. Oliver stop that!
Mum, Oliver is banging the glass!
Oliver if you do that again you'll go back to the car!
Oliver was a little shit! Not one of those boisterous, inquisitive, engaging boys - he was a mean and nasty little terror!
At the meerkat exhibit he kicked the wall and startled the ones sleeping near it - his sister dobbed and I glared.
At the Tamarin exhibit he tapped the glass - his sister said read the sign Oliver!
At the deer feeding he clutched the food in his fist and waved it near their noses - I glared at him again and he sniggered and said just playing with them.
I hung around in the real hope that one of the sweet little creatures would bite him hard and give Oliver what he deserved. Sadly they were too gentle.
Deer oh deer, I can't help feeling that you're fawn-ing to us with this shot. It's stag-gering... ;)

Pity he didn't tease the tigers.

Love this shot!
Oliver, however, is a bad boy. I've been known to do a bit more than glare. The words just slip out of my mouth!

Beautiful soft processing. :)

I sorta knew this one, but haven't had time to comment on it.

Great story too. I can identify with Dyan @dyanstevens and have also commented rather than glared at naughty children. When I shout "Behave yourself" they seem to stop, I guess I have got one of those voices that they don't argue with somehow. Blunt northern upbringing I guess.

@onewing had his sister not been doing a good job of telling him off the words would have come from me too....probably to the parents as well as him....something lime feel free to feed Oliver to the lions ha ha

Brilliant - and love your account of the horrid Oliver.

@annied Oh definitely, the tiger would deserve a medal. How about a boa constrictor instead, not much evidence except a large bump.

Thought provoking tale!

Such a lovely shot. I dare say that Oliver needs some parenting, sounds like his sister has been left to do it.
