Francoise challenged me to photograph the concept of REGAL
This handsome fellow is an Australian Buzzard - and I think he looked very stately and important when he struck this REGAL pose!
Regal in spades here. The iridescents in the plumage only adds to the Regal bearing. Shamelessly anthropomorphizing, I find something a bit wry and vulnerable about his expression, perhaps a commentary on Kings.
@francoise so pleased you like it - I have no problem with anthropomorphizing - I think we attribute characteristics to humans that we don’t really deserve....we are specie-ist.
