First real snowfall this winther fell last night... and today the sun was out, so I left work a bit early and went for a photo walk near the Limfjord (the city I live in, Aalborg, is placed right on the shoreline of the largest fjord in Denmark).
The daylight hours are short this time of year here in Denmark, and this photo was taken around 2.30 PM, the sun had already started to set and was casting these beautiful long shadow all over the landscape.
The swans were gathering on the fjord (there were probably more than 40 swans there), and I could hear them singing, it was almost magical... Unfortunately they were too far out on the fjord for me to get a decent shot of them... (but I will put that on my future photo-to-do-list).
