I wanted to play with frosty soap bubbles, but we have no frost this morning... so I ended up just playing with soap bubbles - which was just as fun :-)

Beautiful shot. You inspired me to try it with my grands today. Not easy at all.

@hubmom Thank you very much. I think the trick lies in the ingredients used in the soapy water, not all kinds of dishwashing soaps works well I've learned (we only have one good one here in Denmark, it's called Fairy Ultra, maybe you have that too?). To get long lasting bubbles it also help to add lube (I know it sounds weird, but it helps in stabilizing the bubbles, so that they can withstand the gravity a bit better and therefore the bubbles lasts a little longer (gravity weakens the top half of the bubble as the water travels to the botton half, and when the top half gets too thin the bubble breaks)).

We used store bought bubbles for our experiment. I read that adding glycerine will help make the bubbles more stable. Going to try that, I'll let you know how it works out.
