Daisies - seen in a new way…

My darling husband returned last night from a trip to Las Vegas with his best mates - and with him he brought something awesome… a new Lensbaby lens for me… Lensbaby gear isn't that easy to find here in Denmark (or in all of Europe for that matter), so while my husband stayed in Las Vegas, I had a Lensbaby Velvet 56 lens shipped to his hotel... I've been looking forward to receiving this awesome lens and it's even better than what I had expected... Already after shooting the first few test shots I 'm totally in love with this lens... It's amazing... and very versatile - I'm really looking forward to getting to know this lens a lot more.

To take this baby for it's first spin I immediately aimed at the beautiful daisies growing in our lawn... and I know it's impossible to tell, but the white swirly things on this photo is actually Daisies... seriously out of focus Dasies :-) ...Well - why on Earth did I choose such a poor photo to post as my first shot using the Lensbaby Velvet 56??? Surely there must have been something in focus???... And the answer is yes, there were... But somehow I really like the swirly look of this... I can't really describe it... it just appeals to me somehow :-)

Gear used: Olympus OM-D E-M5 + Lensbaby Velvet 56 f1.6/56mm.
Wonderful abstract and great choice to keep the colors limited.
