Curly stamens by atchoo

Curly stamens

If you think about the word "flower" together with the word "beauty" you would probably imagine a flower in full bloom with all it's petals fresh and crisp, but there's beauty to be found even in the dying flowers and the flowers that have lost their "shine"… I fell for these curly shapes of the stamens on one of the clematis flowers in our garden - it has dropped all the velvety deep purple petals and now reveals something else just as beautiful and visually fascinating, I think :-).
