Red Admiral

We went up north today to visit my mother in law - she invited us for brunch at a local restaurant and outside the restaurant there is a small public garden with various herbs (what a great idea to have a public garden with various herbs in the middle of a city... I wish we had one too :-)). Especially the Anise Hyssop (in Latin "Agastache foeniculum" and in Danish "Anisisop" or "Indianermynte") were incredibly popular - the plants were covered with bees and butterflies... they are fast little creatures, but I managed to capture this beauty. It's a Red Admiral (in Latin "Vanessa atalanta"), and they are very common in Denmark.

Gear used Olympus OM-D E-M5 + Lensbaby Velvet 56 f1.6/56mm.
