Tendril by atchoo

Tendril

On my way home from work today I stopped by our local grocery shop and saw that they had potted Passion Flowers for sale… I remember my grandmother having a huge one standing on a small table in their living room and I've always been fascinated by the beautiful flowers and curly tendrils, so I decided to grab a couple of to bring back home.
Passiflora Caerulea or Passion Flower (in Danish: Passionsblomst) is a woody wine capable of growing up to 15-20 meters high (where supporting trees are available), and it's using these curly tendrils to cling to whatever is within it's reach. I've always found this clingy mechanism quite fascinating... and also the tendrils are beautiful to look at, I think :-).

Gear used Olympus OM-D E-M5 + Lensbaby Velvet 56 f1.6/56mm.
Gret capture, good on you using the lensbaby for this, gives it the optimum twist.
