Yesterday my new boss gave me a green plant to place at the corner of my desk… this was such a pleasant surprise because at my old job we weren't allowed to have any plants on our desks. This plant is a welcome gift from him and all my new colleagues, and it's such a nice gesture. I like it - it's really nice to have something green and growing to look at while working :-).
It's a Crasula variety (probably a Crasula ovata (there are more than 200 variants)), and being a succulent plant it should be fairly easy to care for. In English they are also known as Jade plant, Friendship tree, Lucky plant or Money tree, and in Danish they are called Paradistræ.
