Todays shot is a shot of the coffee mug, that I made last night (well… I didn't make the mug itself, but I drew the black vinyl decal/sticker in Photoshop and cut it using my Silhouette Cameo cutting machine).
I made it as a special gift for someone who loves books. I gave her the mug today and I'm very glad she liked it :-). She wanted to pay me for the mug, but instead I asked her to pay it forward…
Pay it forward is a concept inspired by the movie and the novel carrying the same name "Pay It Forward" (I really love this movie).
It's the story of a boy who did three good deeds for others in need. In return, all that he wanted was that they pass on the good deed to three other people and keep the cycle going. One good deed might not seem like much, but if everyone did something good for someone else, then the cycle of generosity and kindness can spark us to become better people making the world a more positive place to live in - at least I hope and believe so.
