I sew a lot and a while back I purchased the wrong kind of sewing thread for my serger, the spools were too large to fit on my machine… When I realized my mistake it was too late to return the thread, so instead I decided to cut it down to size so that the spools would fit... there's something strangely soothing about watching a spool of thread unfolding this way :-) - photo was inspired by this video: https://www.instagram.com/p/BH4Ntxth_ss/
