Today's shot is inspired by facebook… I'm a member of several groups there… and every now and then in specific groups I see that the tone gets more and more harsh day by day… whatever happened to "If you have nothing positive to say - then zip it!"?... My Grandmother always said exactly that (actually she said it in Danish "Hvis du ikke har noget positivt at sige, så hold mund!).
It seems to me like someone is mistaking their freedom of speech with an obligation of speech... Why not be kind to one another... and be respectful - after all we are all human beings.
Amazing macro and yes I agree totally! My grandpa always said “if you don’t have something nice to say don’t say anything.” I also agree this is one reason 365 is so refreshing.
well yes ... when i was a child my mother would often say that to me ... and i found it kind of annoying ... but as i've grown older i've tried to adopt that attitude more ... or, at least, to think about the tone in which i'm speaking, and the words i use, if i do feel i have to take issue with something :) (sometimes, not always, i can actually achieve this!) and certainly this is one of the things i like so much about 365, that this kind of behaviour so very rarely happens :) great image, ann, and thoughtful narrative - all good wishes to you :)
